Team USA wins third straight to close IIHF Championships

2010 IIHF World Championships – U DID IT GENTLEMEN!

USA 3 – 2 Italy (OT)
T.J. Oshie’s GW in a 7 round shootout wrapped up the final game for Team USA in the relegation round. They won 3 straight to finish 13th overall and will advance to the Championship Pool in 2011. Team USA was faced with a big challenge when starting this tournament 0-3. They proved they could come together and make the most of their opportunity by winning 3 straight. The overall tournament is a disappointment, but we give the guys credit for stepping up and keeping their identity as one of the best hockey countries in the world. Great job men and congratulations on your success in the relegation round. We are proud of you. Go USA!
