Ferraro Brothers recap 2010 NHL Conference Finals Game 1

Flyers 6 – 0 Canadiens
The Philadelphia Flyers keep rolling along! A 6-0 blow out is a great way to start a series. Although the Montreal Canadiens have proven to respond when being down, the Flyers have proven that by making history. The Flyers were solid and played a great team game. Leighton was outstanding and Philly received goal scoring contributions from 6 different players. Montreal did not play a good team game. They played as individuals and it showed. Halak was pulled after allowing 4 goals on 14 shots and Price replaced him in net. These 2 teams are a good match up by the style they play. They are both pesky, hard working and will make for a good series, but the Philadelphia Flyers will win the Stanley Cup!
Blackhawks 2 – 1 Sharks
No surprise in this game! Chicago was solid throughout the entire game and Niemi made the difference for his club with his outstanding performance. The Sharks opened up the game with Demer’s PP goal to make it 1-0 in the 1st period. Nabokov was excellent in this game and gave his team every chance to win. The Hawks responded in the 2nd period with a goal by Sharp and Byfulglien’s 3rd period goal, proved to be the GW. The San Jose Sharks should win this series and the Stanley Cup for that matter, but history has shown their consistency and commitment has been their primary issue.
